‘Feeling like I’m on ninety nine, what do I have to do to make it one hundred?’ asks Roland Tings in his new banger which features High Hoops. Already Tings has been making quite the impression in his native Australia, with ‘One Hundred’ premiering on triple j’s Good Nights. The track features up-and-coming talent High Hoops, whose vocal Tings heard whilst on a night out in Auckland. Speaking more about the track’s creation, Tings explains “This song came about following a move from the city to the coast. I spent the summer driving around winding cliffs and swimming in the ocean and wanted to create something true to the sounds and smells of the coast, something with a more organic feel than what I’ve worked on before." Whilst this idyllic scene may feel a million miles away in the wintery depths of December, let 'One Hundred’ take you straight to the sunny Australian coast. -HM
